A Milestone in the Transition from GreenSkills4Hydrogen to H2VE<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first official meeting of the Greek Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in Hydrogen was successfully held as part of the 3rd Hydrogen Summer ScH2ool, marking a key milestone for the H2VE project in Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organised in Kozani, Western Macedonia, the Hydrogen Summer ScH2ool is an established educational initiative that promotes hands-on hydrogen training for learners, educators, and professionals. It was initiated under the GreenSkills4Hydrogen project (Erasmus+), and over the past three years, it has grown into a reference point for hydrogen education in Southeast Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s edition, jointly organised by CluBE (Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia), Advent Technologies, the University of Western Macedonia, the Center of Continuing Education & Lifelong Learning (KE.DI.VI.M.) of the University of Western Macedonia, and the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), provided the ideal context for bringing together the Greek H2VE partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Setting the Stage for the Future of Hydrogen Training in Greece<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During the Greek CoVE meeting, representatives from the participating organisations discussed the regional implementation of H2VE\u2019s training strategy, with a focus on curriculum adaptation, local stakeholder engagement, and the development of modular learning units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting also served to establish working synergies between higher education institutions, industry partners, and research bodies active in the region, further strengthening the CoVE\u2019s ability to co-create and deploy high-quality vocational training aligned with both regional needs and the broader European Qualifications Framework (EQF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transition of the Hydrogen Summer ScH2ool to H2VE<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Although the Hydrogen Summer ScH2ool initially began as one of the key training actions of the GreenSkills4Hydrogen project, CluBE is committed to accelerating its role within the broader vision of hydrogen valleys and skills ecosystems. As a result, from 2026 onward, the Summer ScH2ool will be organised under the umbrella of H2VE as an official action of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This transition ensures the long-term sustainability and growth of the Summer ScH2ool by embedding it within H2VE\u2019s wider network of Centres of Vocational Excellence. It also reflects the shared vision of both projects to advance hydrogen skills, foster innovation, and support Europe\u2019s green and digital transitions .
