The H2VE project (Hydrogen Valley Vocational Excellence Hub) took part in the 89th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), held from 6 to 14 September 2025 at Helexpo. This year’s edition placed particular emphasis on innovation, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and international partnerships, creating a space where institutions, businesses, and organisations could present new technologies and exchange ideas on the green and digital transition.

As part of Pavilion 9, Booth C01, H2VE presented its mission and initial achievements, highlighting how vocational education and training (VET) can provide the skills base required for the emerging hydrogen economy. The project outlined its core objectives to:

  • establish Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) in Europe and Africa,
  • expand VET opportunities directly linked to the green transition, and
  • equip learners and professionals with the competencies needed for hydrogen technologies.

Through its participation in TIF, H2VE engaged with visitors and stakeholders, raising awareness of hydrogen’s role in a sustainable future and contributing to discussions on the future of energy, mobility, and skills development. The project’s presence reinforced the importance of aligning education and training with industry needs to advance Europe’s clean energy transition.
