Hydrogen Valley Vocational Excellence Hub

Concept

H2VE is an international Erasmus+ project that supports the development of sustainable Hydrogen Valleys by building a skilled and adaptable workforce.
Through the establishment of six Centers of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) across Europe and Africa (Italy, Greece, Germany, Poland, Latvia and Ghana), the project delivers dedicated education and training in hydrogen technologies, tailored to current industry demands.
By addressing the skills gap, promoting lifelong learning, and fostering cooperation across education and industry, H2VE accelerates hydrogen technology advancement and strengthens local innovation ecosystems.

Our Objectives

Promote excellence and innovation in VET

H2VE enhances the quality, inclusiveness, and flexibility of VET by developing Centers of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs), sharing best practices, and implementing innovative digital learning tools and methods to bridge skills gaps in the hydrogen sector.

Establish Lifelong Learning via CVET and digitalization

The project strengthens lifelong learning by supporting upskilling and reskilling through a cutting-edge digital platform offering accessible, flexible training. It empowers learners and educators with up-to-date knowledge in hydrogen technologies and green skills.

Enhance sustainability through a green link in VET

H2VE integrates sustainability into VET by embedding green skills into curricula, promoting green apprenticeships, and using digital tools to minimize environmental impact while increasing reach and inclusivity.

Accelerate VET at European & International Level

Through transnational collaboration across Europe and Africa, H2VE promotes mobility, mutual learning, and global engagement. It supports recognition of learning outcomes and quality education across borders.

Our Mission

H2VE supports the development of regional CoVEs that align vocational education with the evolving needs of Hydrogen Valleys. By connecting education, industry, and public policy, the project strengthens local capacity to deliver relevant skills and foster innovation.

Our mission is to help regions prepare their workforce and ecosystems for a fair and effective transition toward a sustainable hydrogen economy.
