For the fourth consecutive year, the Hydrogen Summer School returns to Kozani
The 4th Hydrogen Summer ScH2ool will take place from 29th June to 3rd July 2026, at the University of Western Macedonia (ZEP Campus, Kozani, Greece)
This initiative is implemented within the framework of H2VE – Hydrogen Valley Vocational Excellence Hub project, funded by ERASMUS+ programme in collaboration with Green Skills for Hydrogen project. The programme is organized by the Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia (CluBE), the University of Western Macedonia (UoWM), with the support of the Region of Western Macedonia.
This year’s edition focuses on the practical application of hydrogen technologies and their role in the development of Hydrogen Valleys. The programme provides a learning experience, complemented by hands-on exposure to hydrogen technologies, through expert lectures, executive workshops, site visits and interactive sessions delivered by experts from Europe and Africa.
The programme is addressed to undergraduate and postgraduate students, PhD candidates, researchers and professionals, including technicians and engineers, seeking to enhance their skills and specialise in the hydrogen sector, and will be delivered in person in English.

Free public bus transportation to and from Kozani will be available for participants
Participation is free of charge
The programme will be delivered daily from Monday to Friday, from 09:30 to 17:30.
Certification is optional. Participants who wish to obtain a certificate of successful attendance will receive a Certificate of Participation with ECVET credits, issued in collaboration with the Lifelong Learning Centre (KEDIVIM) of the University of Western Macedonia, at a cost of €20.
The number of participants is limited (50–60 participants), and selection will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that travel and accommodation expenses will not be covered.
