On Tuesday, 2 December 2025, the Umbria Hydrogen Day took place at the Hotel Valentino in Terni, bringing together more than 170 stakeholders from institutions, industry, research, and academia to discuss and advance the development of the hydrogen sector in the Umbria region of Italy.
The event was jointly organized by the Region of Umbria, Sviluppumbria, and the H2VE project of the University of Perugia with the overarching goal of strengthening the hydrogen value chain at regional, national and European levels. It aimed to position Umbria as a proactive contributor to the energy transition, particularly by building a competitive and sustainable hydrogen ecosystem — often referred to in discussions as a Hydrogen Valley.
